What’s Happening?
Join us for a hands-on, high-impact workshop that will help you write a bio that actually sounds like you—and makes people want to learn more.
Whether you’re launching something new, pivoting directions, or just tired of dodging the dreaded “So what do you do?” question, this session is for you.
In just one hour, we’ll walk through a simple, human-centered formula for telling your story—clearly, confidently, and in your own voice. You’ll leave with a working draft of a personal bio you can use on LinkedIn, your website, in pitches, or intros.
No branding jargon, no pressure to have it all figured out—just a warm, practical space to clarify what you’re all about and how to talk about it.
About Alexandra Phipps:
Alexandra Phipps helps people find the words—and the story—for the work they care about. Her clients often have a strong sense of what they want to do, but when it comes to explaining it, things get messy. That’s where she comes in.
She began her career in the nonprofit world, working on complex social issues, where she saw how the right words can create clarity, build trust, and move things forward—a lesson that continues to shape her approach today.
As the founder of Verve, a strategy and communications practice, Alexandra helps leaders bring clarity to their work. Sometimes that means working one-on-one with founders and professionals to shape a story that feels true and easy to share. Other times, it means collaborating with small teams and organizations to align their message with their mission and reach the people they most want to serve.
Whether it’s shaping a brand, writing a website, or finding the right words to describe a new idea, Alexandra helps people cut through complexity and share their work in a way that feels natural—and impossible to ignore.
